World Population Day: Family Planning Unlocks Nigeria's Sustainable Development Potential -Educator

As Nigeria joins the world to mark World Population Day, Dr. Abba Abidina, a senior lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, highlights the critical role of family planning and child spacing in population management.

In an interview with a team of Yobe Family Planning Champions, Dr. Abidina emphasized the importance of empowering individuals to make informed choices about their reproductive health.

According to him,by promoting family planning and child spacing, Nigeria can reduce unintended pregnancies and promote healthy population growth.

Dr. Abidina notes that "family planning and child spacing are essential measures to manage population growth." With increased access to family planning services and education, individuals can make informed decisions about their reproductive health, leading to better health outcomes and sustainable development.

Dr. Abidina believes that by adopting a balanced approach to population management, Nigeria can build a brighter future for generations to come.
