The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has announced October 24, 2026, for the official flag-off of its campaign to secure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Director-General of the Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, disclosed this in a press statement, calling on party members, leaders, coordinators, youth groups and supporters to mobilise for the campaign launch in Kaduna.

Yari said the Kaduna event would mark the beginning of a nationwide campaign tour covering all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He said the campaign would focus on securing public support for the continuation of President Tinubu’s reforms, arguing that the administration should be given another four years to complete its policies and enable Nigerians to benefit fully from them.

According to him, the President has taken difficult decisions that previous administrations avoided, adding that the APC believes the reforms should be sustained to achieve their intended results.

Yari urged state chapters and support groups to begin mobilisation immediately and coordinate their activities with the campaign council’s secretariat to ensure a large and peaceful turnout in Kaduna.

He also stressed that the party’s re-election strategy would extend beyond rallies to grassroots mobilisation across wards and polling units, with supporters expected to engage voters directly and explain why the administration deserves another term.

The APC Presidential Campaign Council expressed confidence that the Kaduna flag-off would demonstrate the party’s readiness for the nationwide campaign ahead of the next presidential election.
