The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Yobe State, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, has expressed profound appreciation for the warm reception accorded to him by former Senate President, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, and the people of Yobe North, describing the reception as one that made him feel like a son of Bade.
Wali made the remarks on Thursday when he visited Senator Lawan at his residence in Gashua town, as part of his ongoing consultations with political stakeholders across the state.
"I was received just like a Bade son. I am happy. Since I was nominated, Senator Lawan is the first to offer me his support," Baba Malam Wali said.
He expressed confidence that the support from Senator Lawan and other leaders of Yobe North would further strengthen the collective efforts towards victory for the APC in the 2027 governorship election.
