The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State has announced the passing of Hajiya Fatima Mairiga, describing her death as a significant loss to the party and the people of the state.
In a statement issued by Hajiya Sa'adatu Maina, Press Secretary to the State APC Chairman, the party expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the prominent figure.
The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, extended heartfelt condolences to the Yobe State Government, the APC executive committee, the bereaved family, and business associates of the deceased.
Until her death, late Hajiya Fatima Mairiga was the state Deputy Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Gadaka described Hajiya Fatima Mairiga's passing as a "huge loss" to the ruling party and the entire Yobe State, acknowledging her contributions to the party and the community.
The funeral prayer (Janazah) for the late Hajiya Fatima Mairiga has been scheduled for Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Yobe Mosque and Islamic Centre in Damaturu.
She will be laid to rest according to Islamic rites following the prayers.
The party chairman prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive her shortcomings and grant her a place in Jannatul Firdaus (Paradise).
