Buni @ 7: KACRAN Hails Yobe Governor as 'Chief Peacemaker' of Nigerian Politics

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has declared Governor Mai Mala Buni's seven-year tenure transformative for Yobe State and influential on Nigeria's political stage.

In a statement signed by its National President, Hon. Khalil Mohd Bello, KACRAN described Governor Buni as one of Nigeria's most exceptional leaders, praising his performance as Yobe's chief executive and as a former APC National Chairman.

Key achievements cited by KACRAN include;subsidized tractors, harvesters, and hundreds of tonnes of fertilizer, boosting food production; the creation of a dedicated Ministry of Livestock Development with merit-based appointments; and modern markets across major towns, positioning Yobe as a Northeast commercial hub, aided by the upcoming Gago International Airport.

According to the statement, others were that Yobe has shed its "educationally backward" label and now competes with advanced states, and that hundreds of thousands of youths and women have received jobs or capital grants.

KACRAN noted that Governor Buni has become a national political icon, having been appointed by two APC presidents first as Caretaker Chairman by Muhammadu Buhari, and currently as Conflict Reconciliation Committee Chairman by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The association bestowed upon him the title Limanin Sulhu (Chief Peacemaker) of Nigerian politics for his oratory and wisdom in resolving party differences.

KACRAN concluded that Governor Buni has performed "wonderfully well" across agriculture, commerce, education, and job creation, declaring his seventh anniversary worthy of celebration by both the people of Yobe and the APC nationwide.
