Consensus Deal Seals Gadaka's Return as Yobe APC Chairman

Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka has been officially re-elected as the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State, securing his second term in office through a consensus arrangement.

The state congress, which held on Tuesday at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Damaturu, saw delegates from all 17 local government areas of the state converge to affirm the new executive committee.

The event was attended by top government officials and dignitaries, including Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni. 

Also present were officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), heads of various security agencies, members of the State House of Assembly, and State Commissioners, all of whom witnessed the peaceful transition of leadership.

Declaring the new executives elected, the Chairman Yobe APC Electoral Committee, Engr Muttaka Rabe Darma confirmed that the new leadership emerged unopposed, reflecting a united front within the party.

In his vote of thanks, the newly re-elected Chairman, Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, expressed gratitude to party members for their confidence in his leadership. 

He assured them of an inclusive administration, promising to carry every member of the party along as he continues the developmental and unifying leadership he established during his previous tenure.

"We must work together to strengthen our party and ensure its continued success in Yobe State," Gadaka stated.
