2027: Yobe Aspirant Kashim Tumsah Reaches Thousands with Pre-Ramadan Food Support in Yobe

As Muslims across Nigeria commence the holy month of Ramadan, a prominent governorship aspirant in Yobe State, Kashim Musa Tumsah, has rolled out a comprehensive feeding programme to support the less privileged throughout the fasting period.

Tumsah, popularly known by his initials KMT, has established strategic feeding centres across the three senatorial zones of the state. The initiative is designed to provide daily iftar meals for those observing the fast.

In Zone 'A', the designated feeding points are located in Damaturu, Gujba, Gaidam, and Dapchi. For Zone 'B', residents in Potiskum, Fika, and Nangere are being catered to, while Zone 'C' has Gashua and Nguru serving as the distribution hubs.

Beyond the static centres, the KMT outreach also includes a mobile feeding component. Teams are transporting cooked meals and water in takeaway packs to hundreds of needy individuals in selected local government areas and their suburbs, ensuring that those who cannot make it to the centres can also break their fast with ease.

This Ramadan intervention follows a significant pre-Ramadan distribution effort, during which the aspirant disbursed thousands of bags of rice, beans, sugar, cartons of spaghetti, and other essential condiments to individuals, groups, and community associations across the state.

KMT, who has since been persuaded by his growing admirers to join the governorship race in the state in the 2027 election, has been assisting communities in various fields spanning over two decades.

His interventions cover all sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, skills acquisition, provision of solar powered boreholes and street light and rural feeder roads to boost commerce and economic growth among communities.
