Yobe APC Rallies for Digital Membership Drive, Eyes National Lead

In a push to dominate the ruling party’s digital membership register, the Yobe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has launched a vigorous mobilization campaign, urging all eligible residents to enroll in the ongoing national e-membership exercise.

State Party Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka issued the directive on Wednesday during a strategic meeting with stakeholders drawn from all seventeen local government areas.

The session, held in Damaturu, was aimed at devising methods to significantly boost registration numbers across the state.

Chairman Gadaka pointed to a unique advantage for Yobe as the state’s Governor, Mai Mala Buni, currently chairs the APC National Reconciliation and Mobilization Committee.

This position,Gadaka argued, should translate into tangible leadership in membership strength.

"Our ambition is clear Yobe must not just participate, but lead the nation in APC e-membership," Gadaka stated.

He charged party leaders at all levels to immediately return to their wards and units to mobilize potential members.

"Every stakeholder, from the state to the grassroots, must sensitize and ensure the registration of all eligible persons in their domain,"He added.

The Special Adviser on Political and Legislative Matters, Hon. Usman Adamu Kabaruma, and the State Party Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Bakabe, stressed that the digital registration is crucial for every Yobe citizen aged 18 and above.

The stakeholders’ meeting has now set in motion a coordinated, grassroots-driven campaign, with the explicit goal of overtaking other states and securing a definitive top position for Yobe in the APC’s national digital membership tally.
