NUJ Yobe Council Mourns Victims of Tragic Boat Accident, Extends Condolences to Government
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Yobe State Council, has extended its heartfelt condolences to the Yobe State government and its citizens following a recent boat mishap that claimed several lives.
In an official statement released on Sunday, the union expressed profound grief over the tragic incident and conveyed solidarity with the bereaved families.
The condolence message, signed by the State Council Chairman, Comrade Rajab Ismail Mohammed, and the Secretary, Alhassan Sule Mamudo, was addressed to Governor Mai Mala Buni, as well as the entire people of Yobe State.
"We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Governor, the government, and the people of Yobe State during this challenging time following the tragic boat mishap," the statement read.
The union further lamented the loss of lives and assured the affected families of its support and prayers. "We mourn the loss of lives and stand in solidarity with the families affected by this sorrowful event.
