KACRAN Applauds Governor Buni's Leadership and Achievements

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has issued a strong formal endorsement of Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration, attributing the state’s developmental progress over the past seven years directly to his “unique, inclusive, and compassionate leadership style.”

In a detailed statement signed by its National President, Hon. Khalil Moh’d Bello, revealed,throughout history, the success or failure of any society has always been a direct reflection of its leadership. 

KACRAN as an association is committed to the welfare of their members and the progress of the nation, the Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) formally state their position regarding the administration of His Excellency, Honorable (Dr) Mai Mala Buni, CON (Chiroman Gujba)

The statement read part "​It is our firm conviction that the enviable achievements recorded in Yobe State and within the national political landscape over the past seven years are the direct result of Governor Buni’s unique, inclusive, and compassionate leadership style.

​"We recognize Governor Buni as a statesman of high caliber a gentleman who treats all citizens with respect, dignity, and sympathy. His journey from a Local Government Councilor and Speaker in Gujba L G to the National Secretary of the APC, and ultimately the Executive Governor of Yobe State, demonstrates a lifetime of dedicated service.

​"We particularly highlight his 2019 decision to answer the call of the Yobe people, sacrificing his influential national position to serve at the grassroots level. This act of selflessness defines his character as a leader who prioritizes the common man above personal ambition.

​"Our assessment of the Governor’s administration reveals a consistent focus on peace and human development. Under his watch, Yobe State has achieved milestones that command international respect:

"​We celebrate Yobe’s ranking as the top state in the North East and Nigeria as a whole in the year 2025, for basic healthcare services, a feat recognized by the United Nations with a significant performance-based grant.

"We fully endorse the 2026 "Budget of Job Creation," which allocates billions of Naira to complete modern markets in Damaturu, Potiskum, Gashua, Nguru, and Geidam. These projects are vital to ending unemployment and boosting local commerce.

"We appreciate the Governor’s partnership with L-PRES and other international donor agencies to modernize livestock development, which is critical to the livelihoods of our members".

​Governor Buni’s reputation as a man of wisdom and a "Great Arbitrator" is well-earned.We have observed firsthand his ability to surround himself with a team of high integrity from the Deputy Governor and SSG to the Commissioners, Head of Service, Chief of Staff   and other Permanent Secretaries who work in synergy to deliver on his vision.

​"We also use this platform to express our profound joy and congratulate His Excellency on his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Chairman of the APC Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilization.This appointment confirms what we in KACRAN have always known: that Governor Buni is one of the few remaining politicians whose primary concern is the peace and unity of Nigeria".
