Yobe:MYO Celebrates Maigari's reappointment as Federal Character Commissioner

 

The Maigari Youth Organization (MYO) joined community leaders and hundreds of Yobe youths in a vibrant celebration on Saturday, honoring Hon. Jibrin Maigari's reappointment as Federal Commissioner representing Yobe State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for a second term.

The event, held at the Art and Cultural Center in Damaturu, recognized Maigari's contributions to equitable employment distribution and political representation during his first term.

It served not only as a celebration but also as a demonstration of gratitude to President Tinubu and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, for their support in ensuring Yobe's continued representation at the federal level.

During the ceremony, speakers highlighted Maigari's first-term achievements, particularly his efforts in securing federal employment opportunities for Yobe State indigenes.

In his address,the celebrate,Maigari thanked President Tinubu for the reappointment and Governor Buni for his continuous support. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that Yobe State residents would not be overlooked in federal employment opportunities and development initiatives.

"The people of Yobe State, under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni, will not be overlooked in federal employment opportunities," Maigari stated during the event.

He commended the Maigari Youth Organization for their commitment and energy in organizing a commendable event to celebrate his reappointment.

The celebration featured the presentation of an award of excellence to Governor Mai Mala Buni,who was represented by the State Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce,industry and Tourism,Alhaji Kaigama Umar.

It also featured the presentation of awards of excellence from different youth groups to the Federal Character Commissioner,Alhaji Jibrin Maigari,along with traditional performances, speeches, and cultural presentations that highlighted the diverse heritage of Yobe State.
