Yobe ALGON Honors Governor Buni with Historic Award for Statewide Development(Pictures)
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has been presented with a prestigious award by the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in recognition of his administration's extensive developmental projects across the state.
The award, described as the first of its kind in Yobe's history, was presented by the chairmen of all 17 Local Government Areas.
Alhaji Bukar Adamu, ALGON Chairman and Chairman of Damaturu LGA, praised the Governor's all-inclusive governance, highlighting significant achievements in education, agriculture, health, commerce, and infrastructure.
"No sector in the State has been left behind in the developmental strides of Governor Mai Mala Buni," Adamu stated.
In his response, Governor Buni, who was represented by Deputy Governor Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana, accepted the honor as a "strong feedback mechanism" confirming the government's impact at the grassroots level.
He pledged to continue his efforts to take Yobe to the promised land.

The event also featured the presentation of a vote-of-confidence award to Governor Mai Mala Buni.
