The Path to Peace: KACRAN’s Stand Against Violence in Plateau

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has strongly condemned the recent attack by bandits in Riyom Local Government Area,Plateau State,that resulted in the deaths of innocent people,including women and children.

In a statement signed by Hon.Khalil Moh'd Bello,National President of KACRAN,the organization expressed its profound sorrow and unequivocally condemned the brutal killing,describing it as a heinous crime with no justification.

KACRAN,which is dedicated to fostering peace and unity between herders and farmers,called on all perpetrators of violence to cease their attacks and respect the law.

"We urged bandits,youths,and volunteer groups to refrain from taking the law into their own hands and instead report any grievances to law enforcement agencies".

The organization commended the Executive Chairman of Riyom Local Government for his call on security operatives to maintain neutrality and praised Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for his efforts to restore peace and unity in the state.

KACRAN also lauded the Nigerian Military and other security operatives for their tireless work in maintaining peace and unity nationwide.

"We proposed that dialogue, consultation,justice,fairness,and inclusivity in decision-making and governance are key to resolving the conflicts and crises in Plateau State. 

"We urged all parties to exercise extreme caution and avoid any actions that could lead to bloodshed or the destruction of property."the statement added.
