ADC Coalition Group in Yobe Declares Commitment to New Political Culture

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Yobe State has declared its commitment to building a new political culture rooted in fairness, inclusion, merit, and accountability. 

The declaration was made by Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim Jawa, the leader of the ADC in Yobe State, at a press conference in Damaturu.

Prof. Jawa stated that the party will allow constituencies to freely and democratically select their own representatives, rejecting imposition in all its forms. 

"This approach prioritizes knowledge, skills, youth participation, and the empowerment of women in all elective positions. 

"The ADC is calling for a new direction in Yobe State and Nigeria, one that puts people first and restores confidence in leadership",said Jawa.

The party's leader highlighted the failures of the current leadership, citing insecurity, insurgency, kidnapping, banditry, and organized violence as major challenges facing the state and country. He noted that the government's response has been weak and inconsistent, leaving communities to suffer in fear. 

Prof. Jawa emphasized that the ADC is committed to changing this narrative and building a better future for Yobe State and Nigeria.With a focus on fairness, inclusion, and accountability, the party aims to restore confidence in leadership and uphold justice, competence, and transparency in governance.

"The ADC's commitment to merit-based leadership is a refreshing departure from the current system, where loyalty and patronage often take precedence over knowledge and competence. 

"By prioritizing the empowerment of women and youth participation, the party is poised to bring about a new wave of leadership that is more representative and responsive to the needs of the people,"said the ADC coalition Leader.
