Mai Tikau Monarch Praises Tinubu for Naming Dogara as NCGC Chairman





His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema, the Mai (Emir) of Tikau in Yobe State, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara as Chairman of the newly formed National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).  

In a statement issued by Alhaji Muhammad Sambo Sarki, the Galadiman Tikau, the revered first-class monarch lauded the President for selecting Dogara to lead the critical institution, describing the former Speaker as a key asset to the Tinubu administration.  

The Mai Tikau emphasized that Dogara’s vast experience as a legislator, lawyer, and seasoned leader would significantly contribute to the success of the NCGC.

He noted that the appointment reflects Dogara’s outstanding public service, unwavering dedication to democracy, and proven excellence in governance and legislative leadership.  

The monarch, on behalf of the Tikau Emirate, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for entrusting Dogara who holds the prestigious traditional title of Jarman Tikau with the pivotal role.

 He stated that the decision underscores the President’s visionary leadership and commitment to strengthening national institutions by appointing competent individuals like Dogara.  

The statement concluded with prayers for Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara’s success in carrying out his new responsibilities.
