KMT Provides N2 Million Relief to Fika Windstorm Victims

In a swift response to last week's devastating windstorm that ravaged Fika community, prominent Developmental activist', Kashim Musa Tumsah(KMT) has donated N2 million to assist affected families.

The natural disaster destroyed over 351 homes and left six residents with various injuries.

The relief effort was spearheaded on Friday by Dr. Hassan Gimba, who represented Tumsah, alongside an eight-member assessment team led by Sulaiman Bomai Joda.

During their visit, the delegation was received by the District Head of Fika, Alhaji Maina, where they officially handed over the financial assistance package.

Prior to the donation ceremony, the team paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa, the Emir of Fika.

During the royal audience, they extended heartfelt sympathies and offered special prayers for the injured victims' full recovery while seeking divine protection from similar disasters in the future.

Local community leaders have widely commended the humanitarian intervention, describing it as timely and crucial for victims struggling to rebuild their lives.

This gesture further cements Tumsah's reputation as a consistent pillar of support for vulnerable communities during emergencies.
