Tumsah Announces ₦100,000 Reward for Each Yobe Indigene Who Scores 300 in JAMB

In a remarkable gesture to promote academic excellence, Alhaji Kashim Musa Tumsah, a prominent philanthropist and founder of the KMT-Light Up Yobe Initiative, has announced a ₦100,000 cash reward  for every Yobe State indigene who scored above 300 in the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

This initiative follows Tumsah’s earlier efforts under the KMT-Light Up Yobe program, where he  provided free JAMB forms, organized intensive tutorials, and conducted mock Computer-Based Test (CBT) exams to prepare students across the state for the national examination. 

In a personally signed statement, Tumsah emphasized that the cash prize is not restricted to students who participated in the KMT tutorials but is open to all brilliant sons and daughters of Yobe, regardless of where they prepared for the exams.  

“As a follow-up to that commitment and in line with our broader vision for human capital development, I am proud to announce a ₦100,000 cash prize for every Yobe indigene who scored above 300 in the 2025 JAMB examination,”he stated.  

Each awardee according to him will also benefit from personal mentorship, designed to guide their educational and professional growth, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to Yobe’s development.  

"This is more than a reward it’s a long-term investment in the dreams and destinies of our youth.We believe in raising a generation of leaders, innovators, and change makers who will drive progress in Yobe, Nigeria, and across Africa.”

He encouraged qualifying students to submit their JAMB results as proof of their scores to access the reward and mentorship opportunities.We are not just celebrating test scores we are nurturing a movement of young leaders committed to progress, justice, and transformation," he added.

Details on submission procedures will be communicated through the KMT-Light Up Yobe Initiative’s official channels.
