Gov.Buni Appoints Mohammed Bazam as Special Adviser on Grassroots Mobilization

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved the immediate appointment of Mohammed Bazam as Special Adviser to the Governor on Grassroots Mobilization. 

The announcement was made public on Tuesday in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Yobe State Government, Baba Mallam Wali, and made available to  journalists in Damaturu,the state capital.  

According to the statement, the appointment recognizes Bazam’s “past records of performance, dedication, and commitment towards the development of the State.” 

The statement read in part,“Your appointment into this exalted office is predicated on your past records of performance.It is hoped that you will strive hard to justify the confidence reposed in you by this appointment." 

Baba Mallam Wali, on behalf of the state government, congratulated Bazam on his “well-deserved appointment”and urged him to uphold the trust placed in him. 

The Secretary to the Government added: "While congratulating you, please accept the assurances of our highest regard."

Bazam’s immediate task will focus on enhancing public participation in government programs and fostering unity across Yobe’s diverse communities.  

The appointment takes effect immediately.
