Build Your Capacities in Digital Literacy to Optimize Outputs- Buni to Focal Persons

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has urged Focal Persons in the state to build their capacities in digital literacy to optimize their outputs.
The Governor made the call following an intensive three-day capacity-building workshop organized by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government in Kano.
The workshop, themed,"Towards a Qualitative and Impactful Service Delivery for Sustainable Development,"brought together key government officials and development stakeholders to enhance governance effectiveness in the state.
Governor Mai Mala Buni, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, reiterated his administration's commitment to excellence in public service.
"Quality service delivery remains the cornerstone of our governance agenda," the Governor emphasized, noting the state's strategic partnerships across critical sectors, including health, education, and agriculture respectively.
The event featured notable attendees,including,Alhaji Abdullahi Bego, Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information, and Culture;Dr. Kole Shettima, Adviser on Policy Delivery;Ustaz Babagana Malam Kyari, Special Adviser on Religious Affairs; among other dignitaries from the state.
The capacity-building workshop focused on eight technical sessions led by experts from the University of Maiduguri and development specialists.
The sessions covered crucial areas, including,advanced stakeholder engagement strategies;digital literacy for improved governance;effective public information management and community mobilization techniques.
Key Resolutions Adopted such as participants unanimously agreed to,immediately implement acquired skills to enhance service efficiency;Maintain professional neutrality by avoiding politicization of duties and strengthen inter-agency coordination to eliminate operational overlaps.
Others are;enhance digital competencies for optimal performance and apply emotional intelligence in community relations.
The Yobe Focal Persons pledged full support for Governor Buni's development agenda, promising to serve as effective bridges between the government, agencies, and development partners.
